Maryland Workers Compensation Claims
All Maryland workers compensation claims are regulated by the Workers Compensation Commission in Baltimore, Maryland.  The website for the Maryland Workers Compensation Commission is located here.  This site is very well done and has loads of good information for the injured worker.  It has a page explaining the types of injuries covered by the law and the benefits provided here; a page covering the compensation rates, cost of living adjustments and mileage reimbursement amounts that you can expect to receive here; and also a page providing directions and addresses to all hearing locations in Maryland here.

District of Columbia Workers Compensation Claims
District of Columbia workers' compensation claims are all regulated by the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services.  If the injured employee works for a private company, the Department of Employment Services has set up a limited web site to provide some basic information here.  This information includes a helpful but limited overview entitled "Employee's Rights and Obligations" located here.  In the event the injured employee works for the District government, the initial agency which deals with the claim is the Office of Risk Management.  A web page providing very limited information about the workers compensation process for District employees can be found here.

Social Security Disability Claims
Information for these claims can be found at the main webpage for the United States Social Security Administration located here.
